Chelsea Hing is a design studio that harnesses residential interiors as a vehicle for storytelling. Inspired by the lives and lifestyles of our clients, we give expression to the intangible with daring originality. Led by our founder and director, Chelsea Hing, we engage clients with an emotive, personal process that traverses interior design, interior decoration and art consulting services. Our focus on hand drawing fuels an experimental approach to design – skilfully deconstructing and reframing our clients’ lives to craft a renewed spirit and focus for how they live.

Our full scope residential interior design service spans major home renovations to minor refurbishments, underpinned by a personalised design approach. Our offering includes spatial planning, joinery design and documentation, selection of finishes and fittings, lighting and window coverings, each inspired by the unique qualities of the site, client and brief.
We thoughtfully tailor our interiors to the specific needs of the client, while managing the project from initial concept design to on-site delivery, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.
F U R N I T U R E S E L E C T I O N
We select furniture, rugs, lighting, soft furnishings and styling to complement the home’s architecture and interior design, offering a holistically considered spatial solution. Our interior decoration services comprise procurement, delivery, installation and placement, allowing us to use every touchpoint as an opportunity to express personality and elevate mood.
A R T W O R K + O B J E C T
We carefully curate art selections, including sculpture and decorative objects, to enliven each home with a sense of artistic expression. Working with our close network of gallerists in Melbourne and Sydney, we develop a curatorial vision to help our clients begin or build upon their art collections from initial gallery visits and artist meetings to final placement and hanging on site.
