Chelsea Hing Studio is an established interior design practice based in Melbourne, led with flair and extraordinary vision by the inimitable Chelsea Hing. Prior to establishing her eponymous design studio in 2007, Chelsea cut her teeth at internationally renowned firms working with some of the top names in the business. Along with her small but mighty team, she brings the best of big practice experience to the table.
We’re relentlessly driven to seek out the unconventional and the abstract; aiming for gravitas in all that we do. Through meticulous iteration, curiosity, and experimentation, we listen to solve, craft, and innovate every detail of a home. The mechanics of how spaces work together is approached with both flair and pragmatism – ensuring that every outcome is optimised for life’s practicalities and layered with language to evoke the feeling of “home”.
With more than twenty years dedicated solely to private residences, our studio has garnered a swag of award nominations and attracted widespread publication both in Australia and internationally; remaining distinguished by a portfolio of richly layered, thoughtfully crafted projects.
